Mike Goldstein's account of the Takeover of the Church of Scientology and the Aftermath

This is a story that the Church of Scientology(CofS) and several groups in the Freezone do not want you to read. However, this is a must-read for anyone who has been involved with Scientology.

The new Regime takeover series

In 1982 and 1983, there were massive changes in CofS management and operation that triggered a mass exodus of staff and public Scientologists from the CofS. In an effort to answer questions regarding his experience and observations during and leading up to this period of time, in 2004 Mike Goldstein published a series of articles called, "The New Regime Takeover." This series covers Mike’s history in the CofS from 1980 to when Mike left the CofS in 1983. Even though Mike’s history in the CofS precedes this period by over a decade, this series only covers the specific time mentioned above. Mike may, at a later point, write up his earlier experience with the CofS, including the years he worked personally with Hubbard on the Flagship, Apollo.

The "New Regime Takeover" series was originally published on alt.clearing.technology and alt.religion.scientology and was later picked up and archived on several websites.

The Life after the cofs series

Due to the popularity of his first series of articles, Mike wrote and published a second series of articles that pick up from where "The New Regime Takeover" series left off. In this second series, "Life After The CofS", Mike discusses the formation of the "independent" Scientology field, as well as the history and development of IDENICS.

The "Life After The CofS" series was originally published in 2004 on alt.clearing.technology and alt.religion.scientology and was later picked up and archived on several websites.
